The Atlas of Urban Change is generously hosted by the Cartographica Laboratory and Library in partnership with The Department of Geography at the University of Hong Kong. 

 

Foundational support for the development of the Atlas of Urban Change, including but not limited to grant funds in support of data collection and related research activities in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, was generously provided by the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong's General Research Fund, through the project entitled, "Evolving Geographies of Neighborhood Change in China’s Greater Bay Area: Land Use and Aesthetics in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong"
(Project ID: 17612422; Principal Investigator: Ben A. Gerlofs).

Funding and other forms of support for data collection and other research activities in Hong Kong's Kennedy Town, Sham Shui Po, and Sai Ying Pun was also generously provided by the University of Hong Kong through both the Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programme (2021; 2022; 2023; 2024) and the Seed Fund for Basic Research for New Staff through the project entitled, "Neighborhood Change in Hong Kong's Kennedy Town: An Aesthetic Survey Investigation"
(Project ID: 104006087; Principal Investigator: Ben A. Gerlofs).

Funding for data collection and other research activities in Hong Kong's Sai Ying Pun and Singapore's Tiong Bahru was also generously provided by the Hui Oi-Chow Memorial Trust through grant funds in support of the project entitled, "Understanding the Dynamics of Contemporary Urban Change in Hong Kong and Singapore"
